How does shame give birth to an inner monster?
SHAMEBORN is a queer werewolf that strains toward the longed-for act of baring herself. Queerness rides on rage to unveil internalized homophobia, transgress the boundaries of propriety and disrupt social perspectives of heteronormativity. Shameborn makes her stage debut and claims her spot amongst queer beasts. Shame is celebrated, crushed and rejected – but most of all exposed.
