The Hologram

Cassie Thornton’s The Hologram (2020) presents a peer-to-peer healthcare model that frames care as a collective, feminist practice. In this system, three participants—forming what is called a “triangle”—gather regularly to support the physical, mental, and social well-being of a fourth person, the “hologram.” The Hologram provides tools and guidance to help participants create and sustain supportive care networks, fostering interdependence and collaborative well-being.
